De-Valued UEFA Cup...
Now, this Parma's reserves raise questions about UEFA Cup was an interesting, and for the most part, fair perspective on the decline of a tradition-laden competition.
The only thing Mr. Evans could have done better would have been to underline the primary reason why the UEFA Cup has become "de-valued," and the key is in that particular word itself.

That's just a sad way of how low the tournament has gotten. I never did like the new format, there were too many clubs, was a lot more prestigious (Champions League) when it was just the first two teams that would get in, with the second place team having to play for it.
sad to say, although Liverpool won the Champions League Final in one of the most exciting games I've ever seen, the Champions League is just as devalued as the UEFA Cup.
Small hope for the future, though, perhaps as teams are forced to contract their budgets and reduce ticket prices, kicking and screaming, mind, UEFA might switch back to a more exclusive selection process.
